COVID-19 brought about new demands for health care organizations, requiring flexibility in technology with the ability to provide data quickly and precisely. In March 2020, i2i developed and released a comprehensive COVID-19 toolkit to support the heroic efforts of healthcare providers during this pandemic. Over the past year, this toolkit has been used for COVID-19 lab tracking by 116 i2iTracks® customers in 22 states and has successfully captured over 700K COVID testing results.

As the pandemic advances, i2iTracks has provided health centers the ability to identify at-risk populations, monitor screening tests performed and the results and track coronavirus cases.

One of i2i’s customers, East Arkansas Family Health Center (EAFHC), has utilized the i2i COVID-19 toolkit from day one, from monitoring patients through patient searches, to analyzing high-risk patients for Telehealth visits. EAFHC continues to see less than a 5% positive rate for COVID-19 testing. Their COVID-19 response efforts are well managed using i2iTracks day in and day out, providing tools to assist the care team in managing the additional burden of the pandemic. In addition, East Arkansas staff utilize i2iTracks iTeam Intelligence Care Team Huddle Report to identify and address care gaps prior to a patient’s appointment. This allows for adequate time to be spent with the patient addressing their overall quality of care.

Recently, i2i announced an enhancement to the COVID-19 toolkit to include the new COVID-19 vaccinations and protocols. This enhancement allows healthcare providers the ability to utilize advanced quality reporting and expanded analytic capabilities for vaccine tracking to provide the highest quality care for our communities. This tool is designed to support provider engagement with patient populations to ensure they are receiving doses of vaccination.

i2i is incredibly grateful and honored to serve health centers and provide a timely solution during the ongoing pandemic. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the doctors, nurses, administrators, support staff, and volunteers who continually fight on the frontlines, serving their communities.
