In response to a market demand driven by the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) Uniform Data System (UDS)+ Modernization Initiative, i2i is responding with a market-driven and future-focused strategy. We continue to identify opportunities to generate value-based care solutions that help i2i customers improve quality and provide better outcomes in the communities they serve. We will follow all standards set forth by HRSA regarding submission.
As a leader in providing Population Health Management solutions to over 300 customers across the country, our FQHC customers have come to count on i2i to continue to innovate and lead.
i2i is currently a member of the UDS+ Early Adopter program. Our participation ensures that i2i is ahead of the game regarding the next step in UDS reporting. We take pride in being your trusted resource for real-time UDS quality monitoring and will continue to stay engaged with HRSA, and third party EMR stakeholders as the UDS+ program evolves.
What are the benefits of UDS+ for health centers?
- UDS+ will allow for a better understanding of the Health Center Program patient population by including both routine (i.e., patients who received care at least once during the reporting year and at least once during the previous year) and other patients. This information can help health centers better track health outcomes and identify trends or needs that can be used to inform policy and funding on two potentially distinct patient groups.
- The shift to UDS+ will prepare health centers for reporting their data in accordance with federal interoperability standards. Health centers will be able to electronically report data from their electronic health record (EHR) system with a UDS module and reduce reliance on manual data entry.
